Yisroel Benporat serves as the Senior Associate for Faculty Engagement in New York at the Academic Engagement Network. He holds a PhD in History from CUNY Graduate Center, and he graduated summa cum laude from Yeshiva University. His current book project, Awakening Moses, explores how Puritans used the Old Testament as a legal and political text in early New England.
