
Dr. Paul Sloan
Paul Sloan is Associate Professor of Early Christianity and Chair of the Department of Theology in the School of Christian Thought, where he also serves as Program Coordinator for Theological Studies (MA). He holds a PhD in New Testament from the University of St Andrews, along with advanced theological training from St Andrews, Houston Christian University, and Baylor University. His teaching spans the Bible, Pauline literature, and early Christian theology, including courses on the Gospels, Galatians, Colossians, and the broader canonical witness. Sloan’s research focuses on the literature of the New Testament and Second Temple Judaism, with particular interest in Leviticus, the sacrificial system, and the development of sacred space in ancient Jewish and Christian contexts.
